Day 55 · Live
A Life of Purpose
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand for us to walk in." — Ephesians 2:10
You're not an accident. You are not a product of chance. You are God's "workmanship"—the Greek word is poiema, from which comes "poem." You are a divine work of art, created with intention, designed with purpose.
And your purpose is not generic. Ephesians says that God prepared in advance the good works for which you were created. Before you were born, God already had a plan for your life. Not a plan of suffering, but a plan of impact. Good deeds prepared specifically for you.
Discovering your purpose is not an event but a process. It is revealed as you walk with God, as you serve, as you try, as you fail and as you rise. It reveals itself in your passions, your gifts, your experiences, and the needs around you.
During these 55 days, you have discovered so much about God and yourself. That's all part of the process of discovering your purpose. Don't pressure yourself to have complete clarity today. Just keep walking with God. He is in charge of revealing the way to you.
Prayer
Father, reveal to me the purpose for which you created me. I want to walk in the good works you prepared for me. Amen.
