Day 45 · Live

Serving is the new leadership

"Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." — Matthew 20:26

Jesus redefined leadership forever. In a world where to lead means to command, Jesus taught that to lead means to serve. The greatest in the Kingdom is not the one who has the most power, but the one who serves with the most love.

Service is not something you do when you have free time. It's a lifestyle. It's getting up early to make coffee at church. It's staying after the service to pick up chairs. It's using your talent to bless others without expecting recognition. It is doing what no one sees because God always sees.

Emmanuel Covenant Church needs people like you. People who discover their gifts and put them at the service of the community. Not because the church can't function without you—but because you can't fully become the person God designed you to be without serving.

Service activates something supernatural in you. When you serve, you find purpose. When you serve, faith becomes tangible. When you serve, you reflect Jesus in the most visible way possible.

Today, identify a way to serve this week. Don't wait for someone to ask you. Take the initiative. Serving doesn't begin when you're assigned a position; it begins when you see a need and act.

Micro-message

To serve is not to do less. It is becoming more of the person God designed you to be.

Prayer

Jesus, teach me to serve as You served. I want to use what you've given me to bless others. Amen.
